Anderson Worden (Warden) 18 Oct 1940 (Special to the Vindicator) Mineral Ridge, Oct. 18 --- Anderson Worden(Warden), aged 64, of 3929 Elmwood Ave., died at South Side unit of Youngstown Hospital at 4 a.m. today after a two -week illness. Mr. Warden was an engineer at the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corporation plant at Youngstown for 15 years. He was born Oct. 23,1875 in Jefferson County. He leaves a son, Clifford, of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren; a brother, Matthew of Wellsville and a sister, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Smith of Salineville. The body is at the Lane Funeral Home. [He originally lived near Monroeville, Brush Creek Twp., Jefferson Co., Ohio. He was the son of Matthew and Elizabeth Reed Maple Warden.]

Services were held Wednesday morning at the Long Branch Baptist Church at Middleburg, Fla., for Clifford A. Warden, 52, a former Wellsville resident, who died Tuesday in a hospital in Middleburg. Burial was there. Mr. Warden was born in Wellsville Jan. 28, 1912 to the late Mr. and Mrs Anderson Warden who resided on Wells Ave.. He was the owner or two auto service garages in Jacksonville, Fla.. Survivors include his widow, Mrs Etta Warden; two sons Clifford A. Warden of Jacksonville and David Warden, at home; and two daughters, Mrs Barbara Meadows of Jacksonville and Mrs Joyce Lewis of Kay Heights, Fla.. &

WARDEN - Funeral services for Clifford Anderson Warden,52, will be held
Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Long Branch Baptist Church in Clay County. Burial
will be in Long Branch Cemetery under the direction of Key-McCabe Northside
Funeral Home, 4747 Main St.. Mr. Warden of Route 1 Box 74 Maxville, died
early Tuesday morning at a local hospital. He was born in Wellsville, Ohio
and had lived in Jacksonville 28 years before moving to Maxville two years
ago.He owned and operated Cliff's Garage and Body Shop in Arlington and was
a member of Arlington Lodge No. 309 F and A.M.. Survivors include his widow,
Mrs. Mary Etta Warden, Maxville; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Meadows and
Mrs. Joyce Lewis of Keystone Heights; two sons Clifford D. Warden a member
os the Duval County Road Patrol and David Warden both of Jacksonville, and
seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be C.M. Raulerson, M.D.Meadows, S.A.

Matthew T. Warden
Matthew T. Warden, 81, retired stationary engineer, died early this morning
in the Griffin Rest Home on Riverside Ave., Wellsville, where he had been
a patient for the last 15 months. A son of Matthew and Elizabeth Maple warden,
he was born in Irondale and had lived in Wellsville and vicinity or the last
50 years. He lived at Kountz Ave., for many years and before entering the
rest home resided several years with his grandson Ellsworth R. Warden at
548 Main St. He was employed at the former Wellsville plant of the American
Sheet and Tin Plate Co., until its suspension in 1931. He attended the First
Methodist Church and was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge. In addition
to his grandson he leaves several nieces and nephews.His wife, Mrs Phoebe
Wareham Warden, died Feb. 11, 1949 Rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.
in the MacLean Funeral Home by the Rev. W. R. Tilton, pastor of the First
Methodist Church. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call
Tuesday afternoon and night at the funeral home. [Matthew T. Warden was born

John Warden, 70, died Friday at 10 p.m. at his home in Irondale following
an illness caused by a heart ailment. Mr. Warden was a member of the Chestnut
Grove Methodist Church. He leaves one son Charles Warden of Irondale; two
sisters, Mrs James Walters of Wellsville and Mrs Elizabeth Smith of Salineville;
two brothers, Matthew Warden of Wellsville and Anderson Warden of Youngstown
and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday a 2 p.m. in
the home with Rev. Charles Reed. pastor of the Irondale Methodist Church
officiating. Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. [Originally lived
near Monroeville, Brush Creek Twp., Jefferson Co., Ohio with his parents
Matthew and Elizabeth Reed Maple Warden.]
