THOMAS SMITH, of Toronto died yesterday, aged 66 years, after a long illness. He was born near Holliday's Cove in 1828. He had been married three times, his first wife being Mary A. Cochran of Hancock County, W. Va., who died a few years after the marriage. Of this union only Mrs. Minerva Ralston of Brilliant survives. His second wife was Henrietta Shefler, who died 17 years ago. Four children survives as a result of this union: A. A. Smith of Brown's Station, Mrs. Hattie Bunamell of Steubenville, William Smith of Toronto and Henry Smith of Oklahoma. His third wife, Mrs. Sarah Grizzle, with one child, Frederick, survives.
