MISS NETTIE B. BROWN, 71, of 401 North Fifth Street, Steubenville, Ohio, died in the Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio, at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 1964. She was born in Smithfield, Ohio, August 28, 1892, daughter of the late Jacob and Belle Rowe Brown. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by 6 nieces, Mrs. Howard (Hester) Bell, of Steubenville, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Hess, of Steubenville, Mrs. Wilbur (Katherine) Reed, of Wintersville, Mrs. Alfonso (Marquerite) Moffo, of Rayland, Ohio, Mrs. Carl (bernice) Darrah, of Martin's Ferry, Ohio, Miss Thea Brown, of Charleston, W. Va.; 1 nephew, Duane Brown, of Columbus, O. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Louis Brown and Chalmers Brown and a sister, Lucy Thresh. Friends received at the McClave Funeral Home, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the McClave Chapel, Friday, August 28, 1964 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mr. George Crenshaw officiating.
