MRS. MARTHA PURVIANCE, 78, wife of C. Frank Purviance of 41 Main Street, Wintersville, died Tuesday in Ohio Valley Hospital. Mrs. Purviance was a member of Wintersville Methodist Church. Beside her husband, she leaves a son, Merrill S. Purviance of Alliance; a nephew whom she raised, William A. Porter of East Akron, Ohio and one grandson. Friends may call at the Dunrope Funeral Home from 7-9 tonight and from 2-5 p.m., and 9 p.m. Thursday. The body will lie in state in Wintersville Methodist Church from noon Friday until time of services at 2 p.m. Rev. Charles Dailey, is in charge with burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
