MRS. LUCILLE M. BANFIELD, 81 of 34 Liberty Lane, died Friday in the Lancia Convalescent Center, Steubenville. She was the widow of James William Banfield, who died in 1936. Mrs. Banfield was member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Toronto, where she served as president of the Women's Auxiliary and was a member of the N and N Club. She was a native of Follansbee. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. John (Henrietta) Porter and Mrs. Kenneth (Nancy) Glass, both of Toronto, Mrs. Hugh (Dorothy) Lane of Teaneck, N.J. and Mrs. Albert (Kemp) Lang of Chevy Chase, Dr.; a brother, Nessley Mahon of Follansbee; a sister, Mrs. Rehm Rooke of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Turel Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; services there Monday, 2 p.m.; Rev. Mr. John R. Johnson; Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
