JAMES G. GRACEY, aged 29, one of the community's younger citizens, and loved by all who knew him, entered into rest at his home in George's Run this morning at 8 o'clock following a year's illness with complications. Born in Goulds, the deceased was raised in that vicinity, receiving his education in the public schools of this city. In 1921, he was married in Wheeling to Miss Agnes Bennett of Scotland, who survives with one daughter, Lillian May. He was the son of Jas. A. and Sarah Bear who survive with the following sisters: Mrs. Mary Blackburn of Georges Run; Mrs. Anna Bell Carr at home; Mrs. Elizabeth Quinn of New Alexandria; Mrs. Katherine Heavlin of Seville, O., and Mrs. Nellie Watt of Island Creek. Before his fatal illness, the deceased was employed in caring for his own farm on the Run. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and belonged to the Westminster church of this city. The remains were removed to the home of his sister, Mrs. Blackburn where services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. In their loss of a loving and devoted husband, father and son, the bereaved family have the sympathy of their many friends.
