MRS. IDA HOOVER, wife of Clark T. Hoover, of Holliday's Cover, W. Va., died at the Gill hospital Monday evening, August 7, 1916. Mrs. Hoover had been sick for several months and about two weeks ago underwent an operation, but her weakened condition prevented her recovery. Mrs. Hoover was of a kind and lovable disposition and was noted for her deeds of kindness and charity. She was a member of the Cover Presbyterian church of Holliday's Cove. Mrs. Hoover is survived by her husband, C. T. Hoover, and by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Wm. Maxwell and Mrs. Geo. Norris of Moundsville, W. Va.; Mrs. A. A. McEndree and Mrs. Elmer Campbell, of Holliday's Cover, W. Va.; Wm. Brice of Pike Creek, O.; Rev. J. Byers Brice, of Sebring, O. and Robt. Brice, of Columbus, O.

Funeral service will be held at the home in Holliday's Cove, Wednesday evening, at 7:30 o'clock. Interment will be made at the cemetery at Moundsville on Thursday morning.
