HARRY PURVIANCE, 90, of RD1, Richmond, died at his home at 1:15 p.m. Friday following a lengthy illness. He was a farmer and was employed as a mail carrier and elementary school custodian. He served as a Salem Township trustee, and was a member of Richmond Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kate Call Purviance, a brother Earl Purviance of Weirton, and a grandson. He was born February 5, 1889, in Richmond, a son of the late William and Nancy Purviance. He was also preceded in death by a son, Glenn, a grandson, two sisters and seven brothers. Friends may call at the Dunlope Funeral Home, Wintersville. Burial is in Richmond Union Cemetery.
