HAROLD C. ALLEN, 60, of 441 Wayne Ave., died at 11 p.m. Sunday in his home after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Allen had resided in Weirton the past 28 years, coming from New Castle, Pa. He was employed as a bus driver for the Hancock County Board of Education. Mr. Allen was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church of Weirton. He was married Nov. 27, 1924, in Ellwood City, Pa., to Geraldine Kingston who survives with five daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Lila) Walters of Byesville, Ohio, Mrs. Gerald (Janet) Paulin of Paris, Pa., Mrs. Harold (Genevieve) Johnson of Islip, N. Y. and Mrs. Ray Paul (Betty) Baker and Mrs. William (Patricia) Carpenter, both of Weirton; a son, Dean C. Allen of Weirton; a brother, Claire Allen of New Castle, Pa; four sisters, Mrs. Ira Cline and Mrs. Fred Campbell, both of Weirton, Mrs. Ralph Stewart of Wllwood City, Pa. and Mrs. Rudolph Reeves of East Springfield, Ohio, and 14 grandchildren. Mr. Allen was born July 8, 1901, in New Castle, Pa., a son of the late Harry L. and Kathryn Campbell Allen. Friends may call at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home after 8 tonight. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, the Rev. Mr. Charles A. Thorman will officiate. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Grounds.
