GEORGE MOSSGROVE, 78, formerly of Wellsburg, died Wednesday evening in the Pine View Nursing Home, Harrisville. He was a former caretaker of Brooke Cemetery and a Protestant by faith. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was born Oct. 19, 1905, in Wellsburg, a son of the late Ross and Alice Owens Mossgrove. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Brooke Cemetery; the Rev. Thomas Lohr. Chambers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
