ELIZABETH G. ALTON, entered into rest at the home of her sister, Mrs. Anna Stewart, 227 South Seventh street, at 2:15 o'clock Monday morning, August 14, 1916, following a six weeks' illness with bronchial pneumonia from which fatal complications developed. The deceased was the daughter of Harvey and Elizabeth Alton and was born in this city. She has lived here all her life and was beloved by a wide circle of friends because of her many beautiful Christian traits of character. She was a member of the First M. E. Church and was a zealous church worker. Her parents died a number of years ago and her sister with whom she has made her home is the single curviving member of the family.
