DOROTHY J. CONN, 71, of Richmond died Wednesday, Nov 4, 1998, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born in Toronto, on July 21, 1927, a daughter of the late Oris and Hazel Chamberland Stewart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Beverly, in 1947; four brothers, Oscar, CLyde, Raymond and Floyd Stewart; and two sisters, Freda Snyder and Mildred McKnight. She was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist church and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Donald W Conn Sr., whom she married Jan 18, 1960; eight sons, DOnald W Conn, Jr. and David W Conn, both of Richmond, Daniel W Conn of Bergholz, James L Griffith, Jr. of Toronto, Donald Griffith of Amsterdam, Charles Griffith and Jerry Griffith, both of Wintersville, and Harold Griffith of East Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Howard (Donna) Shepherd of Bergholz and Mrs. Ralph (Opal) Galloway of Naples, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Irondale, with the Rev. Dennis Dovorick officiating.
