CLEO PURVIANCE, 81, of Maple Avenue, died Wednesday at St John Hospital, Steubenville. Her husband, Orville, preceded her in death in 1963. She was a member of the Smithfield Christian Church, Maids and Matrons Dames of Malta and Eastern Star of Smithfield. Surviving are two brothers, Sam Vorhees of Dover, and Myron Vorhees of Dayton and one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Eastlick of Dover. Friends may call at the Nightengale Funeral Home in Smithfield after 2 p.m. Friday. Services there Saturday at 11 with Rev. Mr. Harry Marshall officiating burial in Northern Cemetery, Smithfield.
