MRS. ALICE KELLERS PURVIANCE, Former Smithfield Resident Summoned by Death: Following a five months illness, Mrs. Alice Kellers Purviance, 66, widow of Charles T. Purviance, died of complications at 9:45 p.m. Saturday at her residence, West Beech Road, Alliance. She was born March 25, 1871, at Providence, R.I., and had lived there until her marriage to Mr. Purviance in 1893 when they moved to Smithfield. In 1918 they moved to Alliance. She was a member of the Beechwood United Brethern Church of Alliance. Survivors include one son, Thomas W. Purviance of Toledo; one daughter, Mrs. Frank Hoover of Elyria, Ohio , and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at her home in Alliance with Rev. W.W.
