Mrs. Freida Musegaes, 71, of RD 1, Bloomingdale, died Saturday in Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville. She was a patient for three days. Mrs. Musegaes had suffered a stroke.

She was born in Bremen, Germany, and had lived in the East Springfield area since 1924.

Mrs. Musegaes and her late husband, Gustav Musegaes, had operated the former Bloomingdale Dairy.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Richard Schneider at home; one son Herman Musegaes of RD1 Bloomingdale; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at East Springfield. She was a member of the Richmond Community Grange 1750.

Friends may call at the Sweeney Funeral Home in Amsterdam this afternoon and evening. The body will be taken Tuesday noon at the East Springfield church where it will lie in state. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Mr. James D. Rickel officiating. Burial will be in East Springfield Cemetery.
