CLEMENT BOOP died at his home in Bloomfield August 13, of typhoid fever. He was born in Caroll county near Harlem Springs in 1834 and hence was 62 years of age.

Parents were MICHAEL BOOP and ELIZABETH WININGS BOOP. He was married to BARBARA YEAGR in 1857. They have resided here for 28 years and Mr. Boop ran the flouring mill ever since. He was the father of fourteen children of whom seven preceded him to the brighter shore. Those living are Mary, wife of W.J. Blackburn of Jewett and Sadie, wife of Emerson Hall of Berghoiz; Albert of Wabash, Indiana and Adde, Oscar, Frank and Harry at home, and a wife are left to mourn his loss........His was a long and useful life and he has gone to his reward.
